Dokken & George Lynch in Las Vegas

Dokken is an American hard-rock and heavy-metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1978 by singer Don Dokken. The band became known through 1980s albums including Tooth and Nail, Under Lock and Key and Back for the Attack, as well as songs such as “Alone Again,” “In My Dreams” and “Dream Warriors.” Concerts in Japan in 1988 were recorded for the live album Beast from the East, and later that year Dokken joined the US Monsters of Rock stadium tour alongside Van Halen, Scorpions, Metallica and Kingdom Come. Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson and Mick Brown reunited for a series of shows in 2016 that included an appearance at Loud Park.

George Lynch is an American hard-rock and heavy-metal guitarist born in 1954, best known for his work with Dokken and his own band Lynch Mob. His guitar playing is central to Dokken albums including Tooth and Nail, Under Lock and Key and Back for the Attack, as well as songs such as “In My Dreams” and “Dream Warriors”; his other major records include Lynch Mob’s Wicked Sensation and the solo album Sacred Groove. George Lynch toured stadiums with Dokken on the 1988 Monsters of Rock bill. After leaving the band, he toured with Lynch Mob following the release of Wicked Sensation in 1990, bringing the new group to clubs and theaters. Decades later, he rejoined Dokken’s classic lineup for a 2016 run in Japan that included an appearance at Loud Park.
