Dolapdere Big Gang Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Dolapdere Big Gang is a Turkish ensemble formed in Istanbul in 2004. The group recasts Western pop and rock in an alaturka style led by clarinet, strings and percussion. Its debut album, Local Strangers, includes versions of Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water,” Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” and Sting’s “Englishman in New York.”

Dolapdere Big Gang took the Local Strangers repertoire to the Montreux Jazz Festival. Its concerts feature a full ensemble of singers and instrumentalists performing the group’s arrangements, including its reworking of Sting’s “Englishman in New York.”
