DOMi & JD BECK in Kuala Lumpur

DOMi & JD BECK are a jazz duo comprising French keyboardist DOMi and American drummer JD BECK. Their tightly synchronized jazz-funk and hip-hop rhythms found a wider audience through performance videos and the 2022 debut album NOT TiGHT, which includes “SMiLE” and the Anderson .Paak collaboration “TAKE A CHANCE.” Their NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert presented the compact keyboard-and-drums setup before the album arrived. They then played its material in jazz clubs, theatres and festivals on the NOT TiGHT Tour. They performed at Coachella in California and later brought the duo set to Glastonbury Festival in Somerset.
