Don Felder in Kansas City

Don Felder is an American rock guitarist, singer and songwriter, born in Gainesville, Florida, in 1947. He is best known for his years in the Eagles and for co-writing “Hotel California”; his other writing credits with the band include “Victim of Love” and “Those Shoes.” His solo work includes “Heavy Metal (Takin’ a Ride),” recorded for the film Heavy Metal. Don Felder toured with the Eagles on the Hotel California Tour and The Long Run Tour. In 1994, he took part in the televised Hell Freezes Over reunion concert and the tour that followed. He later toured with Styx and Foreigner on the 2014 Soundtrack of Summer Tour.
