Downset in Osnabrück

Downset is an American hardcore band formed in Los Angeles, first active as Social Justice before adopting its present name in 1992. Its music combines hardcore punk and metal with rap vocals and socially focused lyrics; the band is known for “Anger,” “Empower,” its self-titled album and Do We Speak a Dead Language? In 1995, Downset performed at Dynamo Open Air in Eindhoven as its early records brought the band onto European festival stages. Two years later, it joined the touring lineup of Ozzfest.
