Drab Majesty is an American darkwave and post-punk project formed in Los Angeles in 2011 by Andrew Clinco, who performs as Deb Demure. Joined by Alex Nicolaou as Mona D, the project is known for the albums Careless, The Demonstration and Modern Mirror, as well as songs including “Cold Souls,” “39 by Design” and “Ellipsis.” Drab Majesty performed at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg in 2018, and a recording of the set was later released. Four years later, the duo performed at Cruel World in Pasadena. At Drab Majesty concerts, Andrew Clinco and Alex Nicolaou perform on vocals, guitar and synthesizers in the white wigs and makeup of Deb Demure and Mona D.
