About Dragonette
Dragonette are a Canadian electropop band formed in 2005 by singer-songwriter Martina Sorbara and bassist and producer Dan Kurtz. Their best-known recordings include “I Get Around,” “Pick Up the Phone” and “Let It Go,” while their collaboration with Martin Solveig on “Hello” brought the group to a wider pop and dance audience. Their albums include Galore, Fixin to Thrill and Bodyparts.
In 2008, Dragonette supported Sugababes on the UK Change Tour after the release of Galore. The band later played its own club and theatre dates around Fixin to Thrill and Bodyparts, presenting the songs through a live group led by Martina Sorbara on vocals and keyboards.
