DragonForce are a British power-metal band formed in London in 1999 by guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman. Their music is built around rapid tempos, melodic vocals and twin-guitar leads. They are best known for “Through the Fire and Flames” from the album Inhuman Rampage, a track that reached a wider audience through Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. DragonForce toured North America as part of Ozzfest in 2006 during the Inhuman Rampage cycle. The band recorded the live album Twilight Dementia during UK dates on the final leg of the Ultra Beatdown World Tour, then mounted tours behind Maximum Overload and Reaching into Infinity. DragonForce have played Download Festival at Donington Park and Wacken Open Air in Germany.
