Drangsal in Düsseldorf

Drangsal is the solo project of German musician Max Gruber, who was born in Landau in der Pfalz in 1993. His music draws on new wave, post-punk and indie pop, and his catalogue includes the albums Hariescha, Zores and Exit Strategy, as well as the songs “Allan Align” and “Turmbau zu Babel.” In 2018, Drangsal performed at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, presenting the material with a live band. After the release of his third album, he returned to German clubs and theatres on the 2022 Exit Strategy Tour.
