Dread Mar I in Mendoza

Dread Mar I is the stage name of Argentine singer-songwriter Mariano Javier Castro, who began his solo career in 2005 after singing with Mensajeros Reggae. He performs Spanish-language roots reggae and is known for recordings including “Tú sin mí,” “Hoja en blanco” and “Así fue,” as well as the albums Amor-es and Viví en Do. His concert history in Buenos Aires includes headline shows at the Teatro Gran Rex and the Luna Park arena. He later took his full-band reggae show to Chile, appearing at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in 2016.
