Dru Hill & Mýa in Newark

Dru Hill is an American R&B group formed in Baltimore in 1992. Their close vocal harmonies and dramatic ballads became familiar through songs including “Tell Me,” “In My Bed,” “Never Make a Promise,” “How Deep Is Your Love” and “These Are the Times,” as well as the albums Dru Hill and Enter the Dru. The 90s Block Party concert series has featured Dru Hill in arena and theatre packages that have also included Guy, 112 and Jagged Edge. The group presents its catalog through arranged harmonies and choreography, and Sisqó handles many of the lead vocal parts.

Mýa is an American R&B and pop singer, dancer and actress born in Washington, D.C., in 1979. Her self-titled debut album included “It’s All About Me,” while Fear of Flying produced “Case of the Ex.” She also recorded “Lady Marmalade” with Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim and Pink for the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack, and later released “My Love Is Like...Wo” and “Fallen” on Moodring. She headlined the Fear of Flying Tour in 2001 and followed it with the Moodring Tour in 2003. In 2024, she performed in arenas on the Queens of R&B Tour, led by Xscape and SWV.
