Dry Cleaning in Clermont-Ferrand

Dry Cleaning are a British post-punk band formed in south London in 2018. Florence Shaw’s deadpan spoken vocals sit over the angular guitar, bass and drums of Tom Dowse, Lewis Maynard and Nick Buxton. The group became known through songs including “Scratchcard Lanyard” and “Strong Feelings,” followed by the albums New Long Leg and Stumpwork. In 2022, Dry Cleaning performed at Glastonbury Festival during a run of international dates. The quartet subsequently played clubs and theatres across Britain, Europe and North America in support of Stumpwork.
