Artist
D'Sound are a Norwegian band formed in 1993. Their music draws on acid jazz, funk, pop and neo-soul, and their best-known recordings include the albums Spice of Life and Beauty Is a Blessing and the songs “Tattooed on My Mind,” “Talkin' Talk” and “Do I Need a Reason.” A D'Sound concert at Rockefeller Music Hall in Oslo was documented on the release Live at Rockefeller Music Hall. The band later built a substantial live following in Southeast Asia, playing concerts in the Philippines and performing at the Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta.
