About Dubioza kolektiv
Dubioza kolektiv is a Bosnian band formed in 2003, playing ska punk, reggae, dub and hip-hop with lyrics about politics and everyday life in the Balkans. The group is known for the albums Firma Ilegal, Wild Wild East and Apsurdistan, and for songs including “Kažu,” “No Escape” and “Free.mp3.”
In 2015, Dubioza kolektiv performed at Glastonbury Festival, and later European festival runs included Roskilde Festival and Sziget Festival. The band has also performed at EXIT Festival in Novi Sad.
The live act is a full band built around multiple vocalists, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and saxophone. Sets draw on both Bosnian- and English-language material.
Its club and concert-hall touring has taken it to Paradiso in Amsterdam, while larger London headline dates have reached O2 Forum Kentish Town.
