Duelo is a Mexican-American norteño band formed in Roma, Texas, in 1996. Fronted by singer and songwriter Óscar Iván Treviño, the group plays romantic norteño and Tejano music; its best-known songs include “Amiga Soledad,” “Te Compro,” “Sentimientos de Cartón” and “Puño de Diamantes.” Duelo celebrated its 25th anniversary with a concert at Arena Monterrey and has also returned to Arena Theatre for headline dates in Houston.
