About Dune
Dune is a German electronic dance project formed in 1995 by producer Oliver Froning. Its fast, melodic rave sound became known through “Hardcore Vibes,” “Can’t Stop Raving” and “Rainbow to the Stars”; the project also recorded a version of Queen’s “Who Wants to Live Forever” with the London Session Orchestra.
During the mid-1990s, Dune performed as a stage act featuring vocalist Verena von Strenge, whose voice appeared on several of the project’s best-known records. Oliver Froning later brought the Dune catalogue to 1990s revival events, including I Love the 90's in Hasselt.
