About Captain Jack
Captain Jack is a German Eurodance group formed in Darmstadt in 1995. The act became known for “Captain Jack” and “Drill Instructor,” pairing military-style call-and-response chants with upbeat electronic rhythms and pop vocals.
Franky Gee and Liza da Costa fronted the original stage lineup, whose performances used dancers, uniforms and drill-inspired choreography. After a hiatus, the group resumed live appearances in 2008 with Bruce Lacy as its male vocalist.
