Dune Rats in Montreal

Dune Rats are an Australian rock band formed in Brisbane in 2010. Their garage-punk and pop-punk songs are built around distorted guitars, direct choruses and irreverent lyrics. The band are known for albums including The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit, Hurry Up and Wait and Real Rare Whale, as well as songs such as “Scott Green,” “Bullshit” and “6 Pack.” Dune Rats created and headlined the travelling mini-festival Duniespalooza, bringing a package of Australian punk and garage bands to multiple cities. Their festival appearances have also included Splendour in the Grass in Australia and Reading and Leeds Festivals in England.
