Dungen in Stockholm

Dungen is a Swedish psychedelic-rock band formed in Stockholm in 1999 by multi-instrumentalist Gustav Ejstes. Sung largely in Swedish, the band became known outside Scandinavia through the album Ta det lugnt and songs including “Panda” and “Festival”; later records include 4 and the instrumental album Häxan. In 2005, Dungen toured North America after Ta det lugnt received a wider international release, bringing the band into clubs beyond Scandinavia. The following year included performances at Bonnaroo and the Pitchfork Music Festival.
