Dustbowl Revival in Turners Falls

Dustbowl Revival is an American roots band formed in Venice, Los Angeles, in 2008 by songwriter Z. Lupetin. The group plays folk, soul and funk using fiddle, mandolin, guitars, upright bass and a horn section. Its best-known work includes “Never Had to Go,” whose video featured Dick Van Dyke, and the albums With a Lampshade On, Dustbowl Revival and Is It You, Is It Me. Dustbowl Revival first performed in clubs around Southern California, then appeared at US roots festivals including Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and FloydFest. Its overseas festival dates have included Bergenfest in Norway and Tønder Festival in Denmark.
