Dutch Swing College Band in Sinzheim

Dutch Swing College Band is a Dutch traditional-jazz ensemble founded in The Hague in 1945 by clarinettist and saxophonist Peter Schilperoort. The group plays New Orleans jazz, Dixieland and swing, and is known for interpretations of early jazz standards as well as its own “Dutch Swing College Blues.” In 1960, the band became a full-time professional ensemble and began touring internationally. Its live catalogue includes performances recorded at the Kurhaus in Scheveningen, and its festival history includes the North Sea Jazz Festival in The Hague.
