Artist
Dutch Uncles are an English art-rock band formed in Marple, Greater Manchester, in 2008. Their music is built around syncopated guitar and keyboard patterns, shifting rhythms and Duncan Wallis’s falsetto vocals. Their best-known records include Cadenza, Out of Touch in the Wild, O Shudder, Big Balloon and True Entertainment, while “Fester” and “Flexxin” are among their signature songs. In 2013, Dutch Uncles supported Paramore on a UK arena tour that included Wembley Arena. Their own headline dates have generally used clubs and mid-sized halls; the 2023 shows for True Entertainment included Thekla in Bristol, Lafayette in London and New Century Hall.
