Dying Fetus & Sanguisugabogg in Cleveland

Dying Fetus is an American death metal band formed in Maryland in 1991. Their music pairs technical guitar work and rapid drumming with groove-heavy riffs and breakdowns; key records include Destroy the Opposition, Reign Supreme, Wrong One to Fuck With and Make Them Beg for Death. The 2012 Womb to Waste Tour placed Dying Fetus on a European package with Job for a Cowboy, Revocation and Cerebral Bore. In 2023, the Make Them Beg for Death Tour took the band through North America with The Acacia Strain, Despised Icon and Creeping Death. Their festival appearances have included Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore and Hellfest in Clisson. The concert lineup is a trio: John Gallagher handles guitar and vocals, Sean Beasley plays bass and shares vocals, and Trey Williams plays drums.

Sanguisugabogg is an American death-metal band formed in Columbus, Ohio, in 2019. Their music draws on brutal and old-school death metal, heard on the EP Pornographic Seizures and the albums Tortured Whole and Homicidal Ecstasy. “Dead as Shit” and “Menstrual Envy” are among their best-known tracks. In 2023, the band toured North America supporting Cattle Decapitation alongside Immolation and Castrator. Sanguisugabogg followed that run in 2024 with a co-headlining North American tour with Jesus Piece, supported by PeelingFlesh and Gag.
