Dżem in Lublin

Dżem is a Polish blues-rock band formed in Tychy in 1973. Closely associated with longtime singer Ryszard Riedel, the group became known for songs including “Whisky,” “Czerwony jak cegła,” “Wehikuł czasu” and “Sen o Victorii,” as well as the albums Cegła and Zemsta nietoperzy. Dżem performed at the Jarocin Festival in 1980, during the event’s formative period. Five years later, a Warsaw club concert was recorded for Absolutely Live, released in 1986 and documenting the band’s Riedel-era stage repertoire at the Remont club.
