Eagles Of Death Metal in Birmingham

Eagles Of Death Metal is an American garage-rock band formed in Palm Desert, California, in 1998 by Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme. They are known for the albums Peace, Love, Death Metal, Death by Sexy and Heart On, and for songs including “I Only Want You,” “Miss Alissa” and “Wannabe in L.A.” On 13 November 2015, gunmen attacked their concert at the Bataclan in Paris. The musicians escaped, but audience members and the band’s merchandise manager, Nick Alexander, were killed. They appeared as guests at U2’s AccorHotels Arena concert that December, then returned in February 2016 for their own show at the Olympia, where survivors of the attack were invited. They have also performed far beyond their California base, including appearances at Glastonbury Festival and Download Festival in England.

Yächtley Crëw is an American band formed in Los Angeles in 2017 to perform the soft-rock songs of the 1970s and early 1980s commonly known as yacht rock. Its repertoire includes “Africa,” “Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)” and “Escape (The Piña Colada Song).” The band later released the EP Seas the Day, featuring the original song “Sex on the Beach.” Yächtley Crëw began playing Southern California clubs before taking its full-band show to theatres and concert halls around the United States. The seven-piece lineup performs in matching nautical dress, the established format of the Full Steam Ahead Tour.
