About Early James

Early James is an American singer-songwriter based in Birmingham, Alabama, who plays blues-rooted folk and country. His albums Singing for My Supper and Strange Time to Be Alive were produced by Dan Auerbach and released through Easy Eye Sound; his songs include “Blue Pill Blues,” “Clockwork Town” and “It Doesn’t Matter Now.”

In 2022, Early James opened selected dates on The Black Keys’ Dropout Boogie Tour, including a performance at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.
