Earth Crisis in Saalfeld

Earth Crisis is an American metallic hardcore band formed in Syracuse, New York, in 1989. Its breakdown-heavy music and lyrics promoting veganism, animal rights and straight edge became closely associated with the 1990s hardcore scene. Key releases include the Firestorm EP and the albums Destroy the Machines and Gomorrah’s Season Ends; “Firestorm” is the band’s signature song. The 1996 live release The California Takeover documents performances by Earth Crisis, Snapcase and Strife at the Hollywood Palace in Los Angeles. After disbanding in 2001, Earth Crisis returned to the stage at the 2007 Maryland Metal and Hardcore Festival at Sonar in Baltimore.
