Ebi in Frankfurt am Main

Ebi is an Iranian pop singer, born Ebrahim Hamedi in Tehran in 1949. His career began before the Iranian Revolution and later continued from the United States, where he became a major voice for Persian-speaking audiences abroad. His best-known songs include “Shekar,” “Shab,” “Goriz” and “Khalij-e Fars.” The 50 World Tour celebrated five decades of his work through concerts for the Persian diaspora. His live history includes concert halls and arenas, among them the Royal Albert Hall in London and Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
