Echo & the Bunnymen in Eastbourne

Echo & the Bunnymen are an English post-punk band formed in Liverpool in 1978. Ian McCulloch’s vocals and Will Sergeant’s guitar are at the centre of a catalogue that includes the albums Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here and Ocean Rain, as well as “The Cutter,” “The Killing Moon” and “Lips Like Sugar.” The band played London’s Royal Albert Hall in 1983, then returned to the venue in 2008 to perform Ocean Rain in full with an orchestra. That concert presentation also reached Radio City Music Hall in New York, and the band later revisited its catalogue on the 2022 Celebrating 40 Years of Magical Songs tour.
