About EDDA Művek

EDDA Művek is a Hungarian hard-rock band formed in Miskolc in 1973 and led through most of its recording career by singer Attila Pataky. The 1980 debut album Edda Művek 1 introduced enduring songs including “Kölyköd voltam” and “Elhagyom a várost”; later staples include “A kör” and “Álmodtam egy világot”.

EDDA Művek gave a farewell concert at Budapest Sportcsarnok in 1983, and the performance became the live album Viszlát Edda! Attila Pataky re-formed the group in 1985, after which it returned to concert halls, arenas and festivals and built most of its live history in Hungary.
