Eddie Griffin is an American stand-up comedian and actor, born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1968. He is known for the sitcom Malcolm & Eddie, the film Undercover Brother and the comedy specials Voodoo Child and Dysfunktional Family.

In 1990, Griffin began performing stand-up after accepting a challenge to appear at an open-mic night. His stage work later formed the core of Dysfunktional Family and the special You Can Tell ’Em I Said It. He also established a long-running Las Vegas residency, presenting Eddie Griffin: Live and Unleashed at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino.
