Artist
Edguy are a German power-metal band formed in Fulda in 1992, led by singer and songwriter Tobias Sammet. Their melodic heavy metal became known through albums including Vain Glory Opera, Mandrake, Hellfire Club and Rocket Ride, as well as songs such as “King of Fools” and “Superheroes.” The Mandrake World Tour provided the recordings for the live album Burning Down the Opera. A 2006 concert in São Paulo on the Rocket Ride tour was later issued as Fucking with F*** – Live, documenting the band’s full concert lineup during that period. In 2017, Edguy marked their 25th anniversary with European performances on the Monuments Tour.
