Ednita Nazario is a Puerto Rican singer, born in Ponce in 1955, whose work centers on Latin pop and romantic ballads. She began performing as a child and became known for songs including “Quiero que me hagas el amor,” “Tú sabes bien” and “Más grande que grande,” as well as albums such as Pasiones and Espíritu libre.

In 1998, she joined the original Broadway cast of Paul Simon’s The Capeman at the Marquis Theatre, playing Esmeralda Agrón. Her later arena work in Puerto Rico included the concert documented on Real... En Vivo, recorded at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot.
