Edwin Luna y La Trakalosa de Monterrey is a Mexican banda group formed in Monterrey in 2010 and led by singer Edwin Luna. Brass, percussion and norteño elements shape songs including “Borracho de amor,” “Broche de oro,” “Mi padrino el diablo” and “Supiste hacerme mal.” Arena Monterrey has hosted the group’s hometown concerts and anniversary celebrations. The musicians perform as a full banda ensemble and have taken that format to palenques and fairs across Mexico, as well as dates in the United States; their major capital appearances have included Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City.
