Angelika Milster in Limburg an der Lahn

Angelika Milster is a German singer and actress, born in Neustrelitz in 1951, whose work spans musical theatre and schlager. She is best known for originating the role of Grizabella in the German-language premiere of Cats and for singing “Erinnerung,” the German version of “Memory.” In 1983, she opened as Grizabella at Theater an der Wien in Vienna, establishing the stage role most closely associated with her. Her later concert work has included the touring program Milster singt Musical and church concerts centered on sacred repertoire.
