Eivør is a Faroese singer, songwriter and composer born in 1983 in Syðrugøta. She plays folk-rooted art pop shaped by rock and electronic music, singing in Faroese and English. Her best-known work includes “Trøllabundin” and the albums Slør, Segl and Enn; she also co-wrote and performed music for The Last Kingdom with composer John Lunn. In 2022, Eivør opened Heilung’s North American tour. She returned to headline touring in 2024 with the Enn Tour, presenting the album in theatres and concert halls across Europe and North America. Her festival appearances have included Denmark’s Roskilde Festival and G! Festival in the Faroe Islands, where she has performed close to her home village of Syðrugøta.
