El Ten Eleven in Pittsburgh

El Ten Eleven is an American instrumental rock duo formed in Los Angeles in 2002 by Kristian Dunn and Tim Fogarty. Their loop-built post-rock combines bass, guitar, electronic textures and drums; the self-titled debut and its track “My Only Swerving” became central to their catalog, followed by releases including Every Direction Is North and the three-part Tautology. El Ten Eleven has toured clubs and theatres across North America and Europe as a two-piece, and anniversary shows have included complete performances of the self-titled debut. Their concert setup is built around Dunn layering parts in real time on double-neck guitar and bass while Fogarty combines acoustic and electronic drums, allowing the arrangements to be performed by Kristian Dunn and Tim Fogarty.
