About Electric Boys
Electric Boys are a Swedish hard-rock band formed in Stockholm in 1988 by singer-guitarist Conny Bloom and bassist Andy Christell. Their funk-driven riffs first reached a wide audience through “All Lips N’ Hips” and the debut album Funk-O-Metal Carpet Ride; later records include Groovus Maximus and Freewheelin’.
Electric Boys toured Britain supporting Thunder after their debut and later opened for Mr. Big in the United States. The original lineup reunited in 2009 and marked its return with a performance at Sweden Rock Festival.
