Elefantes are a Spanish pop-rock band formed in Barcelona in 1994 and fronted by singer Shuarma. They became known through the album Azul, produced by Enrique Bunbury, and songs including “Azul” and “Que yo no lo sabía”; later records include La forma de mover tus manos and El rinoceronte. In 2006, Elefantes played a farewell tour before separating, then reunited and returned to concert stages in 2013. Touring resumed around El rinoceronte, and the later Azul 20 años tour marked the twentieth anniversary of the record that established their wider audience.
