Elektro Guzzi in Vienna

Elektro Guzzi are an Austrian trio formed in Vienna in 2004, playing minimal techno through guitar, bass and drums. They are known for their self-titled debut album and subsequent records including Parquet, Observatory and Clones. Elektro Guzzi have performed at Sónar in Barcelona and MUTEK in Montreal, presenting their instrument-based techno in settings devoted to electronic music. They have also taken the same trio setup into clubs, including Berghain in Berlin. Their concerts are built around patterns created and manipulated in real time by the three musicians. The stage lineup is Bernhard Hammer on guitar, Jakob Schneidewind on bass and Bernhard Breuer on drums.
