Eleni in Piotrkow Trybunalski

Eleni is a Polish singer, lyricist and composer of Greek descent, born in Bielawa in 1956. Her repertoire encompasses pop, folk and traditional Greek music. Her recordings include the Prometheus album Po słonecznej stronie życia and the solo releases Ty – jak niebo, ja – jak obłok, Morze snu and Miłość jak wino. In 1975, she began her professional career as a guitarist and singer with Prometheus, then started a solo career in 1980. Eleni appeared four times at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole between 1984 and 1993. She has performed throughout Poland and has also given concerts for Polish diaspora audiences in Australia, France, Sweden, Canada and the United States.
