Elephant Stone in Rochester

Elephant Stone is a Canadian psychedelic rock band formed in Montreal in 2009 by singer, bassist and sitarist Rishi Dhir. Indian classical instrumentation is a central part of its melodic rock sound, heard across albums including The Seven Seas, Elephant Stone, The Three Poisons, Ship of Fools and Hollow. Elephant Stone have toured clubs across North America and Europe since their early albums. Austin Psych Fest was among their early festival appearances, followed by performances at Desert Daze and Montreal’s Osheaga. The group plays as a full band, building its arrangements around guitars, a rhythm section and the sitar of Rishi Dhir.
