About Eleri Ward
Eleri Ward is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist known for intimate indie-folk interpretations of Stephen Sondheim’s music. Her albums A Perfect Little Death and Keep a Tender Distance recast songs from Sondheim musicals through layered vocals and acoustic guitar arrangements influenced by Sufjan Stevens.
In 2022, Eleri Ward opened for Josh Groban on the Harmony Summer Tour, performing her Sondheim arrangements at amphitheatres across the United States. She also joined the headliner during his set to sing “Not While I’m Around” with Josh Groban.
