Elle Varner in New York

Elle Varner is an American R&B singer-songwriter born in Brooklyn and raised in Los Angeles. She became known through her 2012 debut album, Perfectly Imperfect, led by “Only Wanna Give It to You” featuring J. Cole and the vocal showcase “Refill.” The Perfectly Imperfect Tour took the debut album to theatres and clubs across the United States. During the same period, she performed songs including “Refill” and “Not Tonight” in an intimate ensemble setting for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
