Ellis Paul in Bethlehem

Ellis Paul is an American folk singer-songwriter, born in Maine in 1965 and closely associated with the Boston folk scene. His catalogue includes the albums Stories and Translucent Soul, while “The World Ain’t Slowing Down” reached a wider audience through the film Me, Myself & Irene. During the 1990s, Ellis Paul performed frequently at Club Passim in Cambridge as part of the region’s singer-songwriter circuit. He later documented that relationship on Live at Club Passim; another concert recording, A Summer Night in Georgia, captured his performance at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur.
