Elmer Food Beat is a French rock band formed in Nantes in 1986, known for humorous, bawdy lyrics and direct pop-rock songwriting. The group’s best-known material includes “Daniela,” “Le plastique c’est fantastique,” “La caissière de chez Leclerc” and the album 30 cm. In 2006, the band reunited for a concert at L’Olympic after having split in the 1990s. Elmer Food Beat subsequently resumed performing, including a 2010 appearance at Hellfest in Clisson.
