About Emika
Emika is a British electronic musician and composer, born in Milton Keynes, raised in Bristol and later based in Berlin. Her dark, spacious music draws on dubstep, techno and classical composition. She became known through tracks including “Drop the Other” and “Count Backwards,” followed by the albums Emika and Dva for Ninja Tune.
Emika supported Amon Tobin on the ISAM Live tour after the release of her debut album. She performed a voice-led electronic set on those dates, then later toured Klavírní as a solo piano-and-voice concert under the name Emika.
