About Employed To Serve
Employed To Serve are an English metal and hardcore band formed in Woking by vocalist Justine Jones and guitarist Sammy Urwin. Their catalogue includes the albums Greyer Than You Remember, The Warmth of a Dying Sun, Eternal Forward Motion and Conquering, built around abrasive riffs, breakdowns and abrupt rhythmic shifts.
In 2017, the band performed on the Earache Records stage in Glastonbury Festival’s Shangri-La area. They later joined Gojira and Alien Weaponry for European arena dates on the Fortitude tour.
