Artist
Engerling are a German blues-rock band formed in East Berlin in 1975 by singer and keyboardist Wolfram Bodag. Their German-language repertoire became part of the GDR blues and rock scene, led by songs such as “Mama Wilson” and albums including “Engerling” and “Tagtraum.” During the GDR years, Engerling built their live following in clubs and at festivals, then carried that concert work into reunified Germany. Since 1994, they have also toured Europe repeatedly as the backing band for Detroit singer Mitch Ryder.
