About Equilibrium
Equilibrium are a German metal band formed in Starnberg, Bavaria, in 2001. They play folk metal built around orchestral keyboards, heavy guitar riffs and harsh vocals, and are known for albums including Turis Fratyr and Sagas, as well as the song “Blut im Auge.”
The 2008 Paganfest tour took Equilibrium across Europe with Korpiklaani, Moonsorrow, Eluveitie and Týr during the period surrounding Sagas. They later toured behind Erdentempel with Trollfest and Nothgard and performed at German metal festivals including Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze.
